After your first year, you automatically get 10% loyalty pricing and everything becomes month-to-month. You’re free to stay, switch plans, or leave anytime with 30 days notice.

Switch to Hosting Only ($25/month) – Need to cut costs? Your site stays secure on GreenPeaks hosting with critical support. You handle WordPress updates yourself. Some clients do this during slow seasons, then upgrade back when business picks up.

Move to independent hosting – Ready to manage everything yourself? No problem. Give us 30 days notice and we’ll help you transfer to GreenGeeks direct (~$20/month) or any provider you choose. We’ll walk you through it, hand over everything, and make the transition smooth.

Not sure yet? If you need time to decide, your site automatically continues on Hosting Only at $25/month so nothing breaks while you figure out your next step. You can upgrade back to management or transfer off whenever you’re ready.

Typical updates that fit in 15 minutes:

• Changing hours, phone number, or pricing
• Updating contact information
• Adding or editing a single service description
• Swapping 1-2 images
• Minor text edits on one page

What doesn’t fit:

• Adding entirely new pages
• Major content rewrites
• Complex functionality changes
• Multiple page updates at once

If an update takes longer than 15 minutes, I’ll let you know upfront and bill the additional time at $125/hour.

The 15 minutes resets monthly and doesn’t roll over each month.

I still spend time on your business quarterly. I review your traffic, check your SEO, and send you marketing recommendations, such as update suggestions for your Google Business Profile, maybe try posting this on social media, think about adding this content to your site. You’re still getting strategic value even without hands-on updates.

If you’re not using the social posts:

Then Active Partnership probably isn’t the right plan for you. The social post is the main value-add that justifies $195/month. If you’re not posting it or don’t value having content created for you, downgrade to Essential Care.

Honestly, if you’re not actively using what Active Partnership offers, you’re overpaying. Switch to Essential Care—no hard feelings.

You absolutely can. After your 12-month commitment, you’re free to take over hosting and manage everything yourself.

Here’s what you’d need to handle:

• WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates (monthly)
• Security monitoring and malware scans
• Backup management and testing
• Performance optimization when the site slows down
• Troubleshooting if something breaks after an update

Some people enjoy this stuff or have someone on their team who can handle it. Most of my clients prefer to spend their time running their business instead of learning WordPress maintenance.

If you want to try managing it yourself, I’m happy to help you transition. If it gets overwhelming, you can always come back to a management plan.

If something happens to my business, you get full access to your site, hosting credentials, and all documentation. You own the site and can move it anywhere.

That said, this is my full-time business, not a side project. I’m not disappearing like the freelancer who ghosted you on your last website project.
