Our Team
West Aubrey is a woman-led web design studio based in Kimberley, BC.
Kelly’s path to web design is anything but straight, and that’s exactly what makes her different. Studies in Art History and Indigenous Studies at Capilano University and UBC trained her eye for visual culture and the stories communities tell about themselves. The Graphic Design Specialization at the California Institute of the Arts sharpened that into practical design thinking. An Honours degree in Web Technologies from BCIT gave her the technical foundation to build what she designs.
Most web designers can make something look good. Kelly understands why it should look that way, and how to make it work for your specific business, your specific audience, and your specific market.
She builds every site and leads every client relationship from first discovery call to launch and beyond.
Ruairi is a PMP-certified Senior Program Manager at TELUS. He supports West Aubrey’s operations and steps in when a project calls for senior-level strategic thinking or a complex client conversation.
West Aubrey is an active member of Maker Division, a professional network of web designers and creative studio owners. This means ongoing education, weekly peer review, and access to specialized expertise when a project calls for it. You get a small studio feel backed by a much larger professional community.
