Exploring the World
Through Our Blog

On websites, findability, and neurodiversity-affirming care

Finding the right support for a neurodivergent child or family member is hard enough. Finding a practice that truly gets it should be the easy part — but too often, the practices doing the best work are the hardest to find.

That’s the gap this blog is about.

Some of what you’ll read here is for parents and families — honest, plain-language writing about autism, PDA, ADHD, sensory needs, feeding, and what affirming support actually looks like. I write these as someone who lives this, not as a clinician — and I’ll always point you toward the experts who do.

The rest is for the practices doing this work — speech-language and occupational therapists, feeding and ARFID dietitians, affirming therapists and educators. Practical writing on how to be found by the families who need you, including by the AI tools parents increasingly turn to first, and how to make sure your website reflects the care you actually give.

What ties it together is a single belief: that the families and the people who support them deserve to find each other — and that good work, whether it’s a website or the support a child receives, starts with truly understanding who it’s for.
